Real Wedding Spotlight: Lesley and Doug

These BFFs took their beautiful friendship to the next level with an April wedding that showcased creamy white and blush pink blooms. But nothing was more beautiful than Lesley’s dress, created from combining the bridal gowns of her mother and grandmother. These two besties wove a lot of meaning into their blissful day.

Tell us about your love story!

We are true believers in love at first sight. After getting introduced by mutual friends, there was an instant connection. We have been best friends ever since!

What are three words that best describe your wedding style?

Sentimental, re-purposed, quirky.

What specific moment took your breath away?

Doug: Seeing Lesley at the entrance of the church for the first time.

If you could do it all again, what’s one thing you would change for your big day, if anything?

Doug: I wish I would have written something on the bottom of my shoes for everyone to see when we knelt, but aside from that, we regret nothing!
